Crime Stoppers of Simcoe Dufferin Muskoka, the South Simcoe Committe, would like to express our sincere thanks to the many individuals in our communities who contributed to the success of the Race Night at Georgian Downs fund-raising event.

Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka are currently selling discount coupon booklets that contain restaurant coupons and coupons from local establishments. Each book is being sold for a reasonable fee of $10.00.
Each book contains over $300.00 IN SAVINGS and does not expire until DECEMBER 2009.
Crime Stoppers is not funded by the provincial or federal government or by any police agency. It is operated with monies generously donated by the private and business sector. Additional funds are raised through special events and activities organized by the volunteer Board and local communities.

2009 LASER LIGHT AND VARIETY EXTRAVAGANZA SHOW

- The show features some of Canada’s top entertainers and includes comedy,
juggling, magic, and world world-class laser light show. The laser light company
is the gold medal world champion of international laser competition.
-performance time: approx 1hr 45 min including a 10 minute intermission.

- WHY:
- Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka mandate is to assist the Police in solving crimes, thereby making our communities and schools safer. Our program encourages members of the community to call anonymously with information that assists in solving crimes that have been committed, are being committed or are about to be committed, including information relating to the whereabouts of wanted persons, illegal drugs and stolen property. For this information, we offer cash rewards to anonymous callers when their information assists the police in recovering stolen property, seizing illegal drugs or when an arrest is made. Crimes range from minor thefts to murders. The program develops, promotes and encourages a high standard of cooperation between the community, the news media and the police to combat crime in our communities and schools and contributes to the security of persons and property by assisting law enforcement agencies in the investigation and prevention of crime.
